Supporting Autistic Students Online Course

This DIY course provides the training for you to:

• Learn to recognise Autistic thinking and social interaction styles.
• Consider supports and accommodations to suit the needs of Autistic students in your classroom and playground.
  
• Understand why it's time to let go of older strategies, for example social skills training, that encouraged students to mask or camouflage to fit in with neurotypical expectations.  

Emphasis is placed on understanding how Autistic students perceive the world differently, and how this impacts on their engagement and learning at school.
